Terms of Service
Wow…. I think it is crazy that the websites that have the best grade (on this website https://tosdr.org/) are websites I don’t use often. I kind of know how much a service tracks you, but I never think about it. I feel like it is very hard to actually read the terms of service for things. The only times I have read them are for things that aren’t super popular. I know I don’t read them for services like Reddit, Snapchat, Facebook, etc. I just assumed that if a lot of people are using it, then I would be fine. I feel like Terms of Service need to be more interesting, more understandable, and more short and to the point. I definitely think I will try to read the Terms of Service more because these websites can really “trick” you into doing/agreeing to something you don’t want.
